Our UNIVERSUM MECHANICAL collection won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 in the "Product - Watches/Jewellery" category. The award is presented by the world's oldest independent design institution, iF International Forum Design GmbH (Hannover, Germany), and is one of the most important awards in the design industry.
Inspired by the romanticism of space, the UNIVERSUM MECHANICAL watch collection is dedicated to human perseverance and incredible ingenuity in the pursuit of truth. The design is based on the concept of combining the stylization of two star maps, one ancient and one modern, which emphasizes humanity's achievements in understanding the structure of the universe. The dials are equipped with two rings for time indication (outer and inner), as well as a calendar.
This year's iF DESIGN AWARD jury consisted of 132 independent design experts, who were asked to evaluate about 11,000 entries from 72 countries. The assessment criteria included idea, form, functionality, innovation, and benefit to society.
