TWELVE MINUTES BRONZE

The TWELVE MINUTES collection was awarded a gold prize in the international MUSE Design Awards 2024 competition in the USA.

The HVILINA TWELVE MINUTES collection was created in collaboration with renowned game designer Luis Antonio, based on the game of the same name. Actors James McAvoy, Daisy Ridley, and Willem Dafoe lent their voices to the characters.

The design is a stylization of the watch used by the main character in the game. The main feature of the collection is the ability to transform the watch from a wrist watch to a pocket watch. The watches use a Miyota quartz movement with reversed hands to maintain the overall concept.

The game TWELVE MINUTES is an interactive real-time top-down thriller about a man trapped in a time loop. The game combines the tension of "The Shining," the claustrophobic atmosphere of "Rear Window," and the fragmented structure of "Memento."

As the creator and writer of 12 Minutes, Luis Antonio is also known for his remarkable work as lead 3D artist on the popular BAFTA Games award-winning game The Witness; his previous work includes art director positions at Ubisoft, working on games such as "Assassin's Creed" and "Far Cry," as well as an artist position at Rockstar Games on "Manhunt 2" and "Midnight Club LA."

The HVILINA TWELVE MINUTES watch was designed to diversify the wristwatch experience, providing new possibilities for its user. The minimalist style refers to the original watch design from the game.

The watch uses a movement with reversed hands, emphasizing the idea of a time loop explored by the author in the game.

The case has hidden grooves with clasps that allow the strap to be swapped for a carabiner with a chain, transforming the wristwatch into a pocket watch.

Indices from 11:58 to 12:10 have a different color: it is during these 12 minutes that all events in the game take place.

The watch case is made of stainless steel, a reliable Japanese Miyota 2037 movement with a power reserve of up to 3 years ensures accuracy, and spherical sapphire crystal protects against scratches.

There is an engraved inscription on the case back. The set includes an original leather strap and a branded chain with a carabiner. The collection is limited and represented by 4 models, each of which will be produced in an quantity of 350 pieces.
