The NOMBRO HYBRID collection won the Platinum award in the MUSE Design Awards 2025: Season 1 competition in the USA in the Fashion Design category, and was also honored with a Silver award in the international NY Product Design Awards 2024 Season 2 competition.

The cyberpunk style, which originated in the 1980s and was popularized by talented science fiction writers, has become even more relevant today. This theme is the basis of our new NOMBRO HYBRID collection!

The main features of the updated models are the new EPSON PX85A Hybrid Automatic movement (Seiko Group) with GMT and date functions, as well as a steel bracelet designed by HVILINA.

Cyberpunk works address not only the problems of human interaction with modern technology, but also themes such as kitsch, inequality, and human impact on the environment, which makes this genre deep and self-sufficient, despite its youth.

The trend of cyberpunk design is characterized by the use of materials such as glass, metal, leather, as well as futuristic and harsh shapes. This is precisely what the NOMBRO collection is like. The massive, complex case, designed by our engineers and designers inspired by the philosophy of the genre, is the hallmark of the collection, and the sapphire crystal over the dial protects against minor scratches. 

The watch is equipped with a reliable Japanese EPSON PX85A Hybrid Automatic movement (Seiko Group) with 7 jewel bearings. Hybrid is a modern class of watch movements that combines the autonomy of a mechanical watch with the precision of a quartz watch. This effect is achieved by combining the control of three types of energy: mechanical energy to charge the battery on the principle of a self-winding mechanical watch (from wrist vibrations), electromagnetic energy to convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, and electrical energy to influence the quartz crystal (on the principle of a quartz watch). 

Thus, the application of the self-winding movement principle in the EPSON Hybrid Automatic solves the problem of needing to replace power sources compared to quartz movements, and the use of a quartz crystal allows for an accuracy an order of magnitude higher than with classic mechanical watches (-10+30 sec. per day for mechanical movements versus -20+20 sec. per month for EPSON Hybrid Automatic).

The reliability of this technology is ensured by several decades of development and research that preceded the announcement of the first such movement introduced by Seiko in the late 1980s and the subsequent three decades of successful operation.

The movement's power reserve is approximately 6 months without charging. The power source is charged while wearing and using the NOMBRO HYBRID watch. The movement does not require replacing the power source (battery). The battery charge level can be checked by pressing the button located at the end of the watch case (a special tool is included for easy pressing). The charge level is indicated by the accelerated movement of the seconds hand. The movement reflects the philosophy of the NOMBRO collection.

The aesthetics of this genre are dominated by nocturnal cityscapes and large amounts of artificial neon light. A reference to this element of style is the design of the dial and the model's indications. Vertical stripes on the dial symbolize city highways, while the hand and Superluminova markers are illuminated at night to help you conveniently navigate time. The updated NOMBRO HYBRID models also feature a duplicated 24-hour indication ring and a 4th hand with a GMT function for tracking time in a second time zone. The watch also has a calendar function. 

There is an engraving on the satin-finished surface of the case back. The central part is made of hardened, tinted glass with a print. The back of the case is also engraved. The pictogram refers to one of the key advantages of the movement - exceptional autonomy, which does not require daily power source replacement or winding of the movement.

HVILINA engineers designed a steel bracelet specifically for the NOMBRO HYBRID models. The bracelet is equipped with a quick-release mechanism and has an engraving on the front of the butterfly clasp, as well as on its inner part. 

The collection is a limited edition. A total of 350 pieces of each model will be produced. The model names are derived from the names of musical genres belonging to the cyberpunk style. The box design also refers to the aesthetics of this genre.
