La Promenade La Ville comes from the French "city" and reads as [la promen`ade la v`ille].

The model is based on the painting "Over the Town" and thus received the corresponding name. The French language was chosen as a tribute to a long period of the author's work dedicated to France and as the most suitable in spirit, which reflects the theme of the collection.

In his works, Chagall often depicted Paris and Vitebsk; and almost all the female images in his works were dedicated to his wife and muse Bella Rosenfeld.

Marc Chagall is a prominent representative of the artistic avant-garde of the 20th century. After his life, the painter left the richest collection of works of art which include works of visual art, mosaics, stained glass windows.

Marc Chagall's painting "Over the City" is the final work in the painter's triptych. It depicts Mark and his wife Bella, who are hovering over their native Vitebsk. The dial of the watch is compositionally divided into two parts: the lower part represents the stylization of the city from the painter's canvas while the upper part represents the sky with an indication of the time scale in the form of stars and the sun at 12 o'clock.

The hands of the watch symbolize the characters from the painting. The colours of the arrows match the primary colours of the characters' clothes. The shape of the arrows has also been developed thoroughly: a larger hour hand symbolizes a man while the wavy, refined one symbolizes a woman. Together, they create a perfect combination, complementing each other.

Conveying romance in familiar, everyday things is the key feature of the painting. This includes both livestock depicted in the yard of one of the houses and an inconspicuous character under the fence. We tried to convey this mood of ease in the design of the watch by adding an image of the domestic goat from the painter's canvas. This bright detail brings playfulness, some absurdity to the usual representation of the romantic and beautiful; however, it does not look alien and perfectly complements the general concept laid down by the painter.

The timeline display in the form of a stylized sun and stars is located at the top of the dial, in the sky.

The stainless steel case, reliable Swiss quartz movement and natural leather strap are designed to provide maximum comfort in using the accessory.

The box is made in the form of a stretcher with a baguette, turning the watch into a finished work.
