The STAR CHRONICLE collection is inspired by ancient Belarusian myths about the Sun and the Moon, as well as our ancestors' understanding of celestial mechanics.
Journalist-publicist Iryna Klimkovich, a former employee of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus and co-author of the encyclopedic dictionary "Belarusian Mythology," helped the HVILINA team gather unique materials. A unique feature of the collection is the stylization on the dial of the image of the original coat of arms of Francis Skaryna from the 16th century. The Moon is depicted in the form of a crescent – as our ancestors perceived it: a crescent is masculine, and the moon is feminine. Compositionally, the dial represents the sky with the Moon and the Sun placed on it, made in the style of medieval fine arts: massive hands of a complex shape, a starry sky pattern, and elements of the hands.
The watch is packaged in a voluminous box – an improvised batleika – and can hold two models at once: a men's and a women's for a paired order. The collection is limited; 500 pieces of each model will be produced.
