The updated NOMBRO HYBRID collection was inspired by the cyberpunk genre, which in the 80s managed to predict contemporary reality. It is a world of technology and corporations, technogenic civilizations and the neo-noir Los Angeles of Blade Runner.
The hallmark of the limited NOMBRO HYBRID collection is the new Japanese hybrid movement. A hybrid is a modern class of watch movements that combines the autonomy of a mechanical watch with the precision of a quartz watch.
The aesthetics of this genre are dominated by nocturnal cityscapes and large amounts of artificial neon light. A reference to this style element is the design of the dial and indices of the model. The vertical stripes on the dial symbolize urban highways, while the hand and Superluminova indices are illuminated at night to help you navigate time comfortably. A steel bracelet with a quick-release mechanism has been specially designed for NOMBRO HYBRID models.
The NOMBRO HYBRID collection is available in six colors, inspired by cyberpunk music genres: Post Industrial, Ambient, Synthwave, New Wave, Downbeat, and Cyber Noise. A total of 350 pieces of each model were produced.
